Public Domain Movies | Attack from Space
In the movie, the hero Starman, an alien from the Emerald Planet, comes to Earth to protect it from an evil alien force called the Spherions. The Spherions aim to conquer the Earth and turn it into their new home. Starman, taking on the human identity of Ken Utsui, fights against the Spherions and their various monstrous creations.
The Super Giant series, of which "Attack from Space" is a part, was popular in Japan during the mid-1950s to the mid-1960s. These films often featured a superheroic figure from another planet who assumes a human identity to save Earth from extraterrestrial threats (1965).
