Public Domain Movies | The House on Bare Mountain

The mansion is inhabited by a group of eccentric and peculiar women, led by their mysterious and voluptuous matron, Madame Heles (played by Lorna Maitland).

The mansion serves as a retreat for these women, who enjoy their solitude away from the prying eyes of men. However, Madame Heles decides to invite her nephew, young and naive Kenneth (played by Frank Bolger), to the mansion, hoping to groom him as the next heir and bring him into their strange world.

Kenneth arrives at the mansion, and it doesn't take long for him to realize that things are not what they seem. He encounters the bizarre and often humorous antics of the women who reside there, including a mad scientist and other peculiar characters.

As Kenneth navigates the strange environment, he becomes embroiled in a series of comedic and risqué situations. Meanwhile, Madame Heles has her own ulterior motives and a sinister plan for her nephew (1962).
