Becky Sharp (1935) is a landmark film as the first feature-length three-strip Technicolor movie, based on Thackeray's Vanity Fair. The social-climbing Becky Sharp schemes and seduces her way through Regency-era English society, using her beauty and wit to rise far above her humble origins — at considerable moral cost.
Starring Miriam Hopkins, Frances Dee, and Cedric Hardwicke. This film is in the public domain and free to watch, download, and share.
