Public Domain Movies | Born To Win

J.J. is a down-and-out heroin addict who is constantly searching for his next fix. He's estranged from his family and has few real friends. He lives a chaotic and aimless life, often resorting to petty theft to support his drug habit. However, things take a turn when he meets a young woman named Parm (played by Karen Black), who is also struggling with addiction.

J.J. and Parm form a complicated relationship based on their shared struggles with substance abuse. The two of them embark on a series of misadventures and attempts to get clean. Throughout the film, J.J. faces numerous obstacles, including encounters with law enforcement and run-ins with other addicts and criminals.

As the story progresses, J.J. starts to contemplate the possibility of breaking free from his destructive lifestyle. He must decide whether to continue down the path of addiction and crime or make a genuine effort to change and seek a better life (1971).
