The Bank (1915) is a Chaplin comedy short in which the Little Tramp plays a lovesick bank janitor pining for a secretary who has her eyes on the bank cashier. After a vivid dream sequence in which he becomes a hero, reality reasserts itself in Chaplin's characteristically bittersweet fashion.
Starring Charlie Chaplin, Edna Purviance, and Carl Stockdale. This film is in the public domain and free to watch, download, and share.
