The plot of the film revolves around a group of young theater students who are led by their eccentric director, Alan (played by Alan Ormsby). The group travels to a remote island cemetery, with the intent of conducting a macabre and disrespectful ritual. Alan wants to prove to his skeptical and frightened students that there's nothing to fear from the dead.

Under Alan's direction, the group exhumes a corpse, believing that their bizarre actions will be a form of "performance art." They then proceed to reanimate the corpse using black magic. However, their foolish and disrespectful actions have unintended consequences, as they accidentally raise the dead in the cemetery, leading to a night of terror as the reanimated corpses seek revenge (1972).
