Tom Harris, a writer, is sent to a remote Caribbean island to document the voodoo practices of the local inhabitants. The island, however, has a dark secret. Dr. Lawrence, a sinister scientist, is conducting experiments with a serum that turns people into zombies. The island is also home to a voodoo cult led by a high priestess.

As Tom investigates the island's mysteries, he discovers the malevolent activities taking place. The cult, with its voodoo rituals and zombie slaves, poses a significant threat. Tom must navigate through a perilous situation, facing both the living dead and the cult's dangerous leaders (1972).
