The film is set in a beach town where a group of teenagers, led by the beach's local hero, Benny (Jayne Mansfield), discovers a plot by a foreign spy agency to sabotage the town's missile base. These spies are led by the villainous Baron (Phyllis Diller) and her henchman, Dante (Jack E. Leonard). The teens, along with a bumbling detective named Johnny (Brian Donlevy), set out to thwart the spies' evil plans.
As the teenagers and their detective ally investigate the spy activity, they encounter various comedic situations and musical interludes. The film incorporates elements of slapstick humor and absurdity, and it includes songs and dance sequences that were characteristic of beach party films of the era (1966).
