Freaks (1932) is Tod Browning's deeply compassionate and genuinely disturbing horror film set in a traveling circus, in which the community of sideshow performers take a terrible revenge on a scheming trapeze artist and her strongman lover who have cynically plotted against one of their own. Banned in many countries for decades.
Starring Wallace Ford, Leila Hyams, and Olga Baclanova. This film is in the public domain and free to watch, download, and share.
