Public Domain Movies | Freaks

The story revolves around a group of carnival sideshow performers, often referred to as "freaks." The central character is Hans (Harry Earles), a little person who is engaged to the beautiful and trapeze artist Cleopatra (Olga Baclanova). Cleopatra, however, is more interested in Hans' inheritance than a genuine relationship with him.

As Cleopatra schemes to marry Hans and then poison him to inherit his wealth, she becomes involved with Hercules (Henry Victor), a strongman in the carnival. The other members of the sideshow, who genuinely care for Hans, become aware of Cleopatra's plan and decide to take matters into their own hands (1932).
