Public Domain Movies | Hercules Unchained

The film begins with Hercules and his companion Iole (played by Sylva Koscina) on a journey. They are captured by a group of Amazons, and in the process, Hercules is hit on the head and loses his memory.

Hercules and Iole join the company of a blind King Eteocles (played by Sergio Fantoni) and his treacherous brother Polynices (played by Gabriele Antonini). The kingdom is in turmoil as the two brothers vie for the throne.

Hercules comes into possession of a magical chain that had been used to bind the giant Antaeus (played by Primo Carnera). When Hercules uses the chain, it restores his memory and his legendary strength. The group then sets out to resolve the conflict in the kingdom.

The group faces various challenges and battles, including encounters with mystical creatures and hostile forces. Hercules uses his strength and wits to overcome these obstacles.

Hercules ultimately intervenes in the conflict, working to restore order in the kingdom and help King Eteocles reclaim his throne (1959).
