His Girl Friday (1940) is a razor-sharp screwball comedy directed by Howard Hawks, in which a fast-talking newspaper editor will stop at nothing — including sabotaging his ex-wife's upcoming remarriage — to keep her working as his star reporter on a major breaking story.
Starring Cary Grant, Rosalind Russell, and Ralph Bellamy. This film is in the public domain and free to watch, download, and share.
