A group of amateur actors who accidentally become involved in a bank robbery. They are mistaken for the real criminals and end up on the run from both the police and the actual thieves. The film is a classic British farce, filled with slapstick humor, mistaken identities, and chaotic situations as the bumbling actors try to clear their names and evade capture. Along the way, they encounter various colorful characters and comedic mishaps, leading to a series of hilarious misunderstandings and narrow escapes. In the end, of course, everything is resolved in a typically lighthearted and humorous fashion (1947).
