The story begins when Jeff Hayes (played by Neil Hamilton), a struggling artist, unexpectedly inherits a large fortune from his late uncle. With his newfound wealth, Jeff becomes the object of desire for numerous women, each with her own agenda.

Among the women vying for Jeff's affections are a gold-digging socialite, a conniving ex-girlfriend, a calculating secretary, and a mysterious femme fatale. As Jeff tries to navigate the attention of these women, he finds himself caught in a web of deceit and romantic entanglements.

Complicating matters further, Jeff's loyal friend and confidante, Pat (played by Richard Cromwell), becomes suspicious of the women pursuing Jeff and sets out to uncover their true intentions.
