Tom Stewart, played by Richard Carlson, a talented jazz pianist who is engaged to a wealthy socialite named Meg Hubbard, portrayed by Lugene Sanders. Tom's life takes a dark turn when he becomes involved with a former lover, Vi Mason, played by Juli Reding. Vi, however, dies accidentally during a confrontation with Tom.
Haunted by guilt, Tom tries to move on with his life, preparing for his upcoming marriage to Meg. However, things take a supernatural twist when Vi's vengeful ghost returns from the afterlife. Vi's ghost begins to torment Tom, causing disruptions in his life and relationships.
The ghostly presence of Vi becomes increasingly malevolent, and Tom struggles to escape the consequences of his actions. As the supernatural occurrences escalate, Tom is faced with the consequences of his past, and the lines between reality and the supernatural blur. (1960).
