The film opens with a man named Joseph Langdon (played by John Ashley) who is in desperate circumstances. Facing financial ruin and impending death from a terminal illness, Langdon makes a deal with Satan to extend his life. As part of the pact, he is transformed into an immortal being who is eternally damned.

After making the deal, Langdon becomes a monstrous, fanged, and hairy creature during the nighttime hours, and he is driven to commit acts of violence and murder. During the day, he appears as a normal human being.

Langdon grapples with his dual nature, trying to control his monstrous alter ego while also searching for a way to break his diabolical contract. His condition and the murders he commits bring him to the attention of the authorities and a local doctor, Dr. Raoul Leduc (played by Vic Díaz).

Langdon seeks redemption for his dark deeds and looks for a way to rid himself of his curse. He enlists the help of the doctor in his quest to break the deal he made with the devil (1971).
